Three Happy Years

Aug. 18, 2005
Wedding day for us.  What a great and crazy three years it has been.  I love being able to spend all day with my husband and am so very grateful and proud of the progress he has made.  Can't wait until the day he will be the talking, fun, tender, walking, laughing, eating, motor lovin' Jared I married (although I do like him as is for now as long as I get to have him here).  Three years down, forever to go.  I love it!

Rexburg Wedding

We were able to go to Rexburg for Blake's wedding.  The wedding was beautiful and it was great to meet Savannah's family and be with them on their home turf. It was really fun for me to be in Rexburg, as I went to school there.  I haven't been back in a few years so we got there a little early so I could drive around and check out my old stomping grounds.  Rexburg has changed a lot but it brought back some great memories.  We even had lunch (Craigos pizza-which is not the same as it was, but still good) with Jared's cousin Mikel who is living there right now.  We had fun with her and are grateful for her letting us use her house for some down time.

Weddings

We have had a few weddings this summer (ok, just two) but for us that is pretty good.  First, we headed south to Jareds cousins wedding (John Woodley and now Kylie Woodley).  We got to spend the weekend with most of the Nelson family.  Jared had a great time laughing at everyone and as always loving the babies.

Summer Catch Up

Well, I started a blog thinking I would be really good about keeping up with it, but soon found out it was harder then I thought to be as creative and fun as some of our families and friends out there. I also felt a little silly about posting things of just the two of us.  So, I guess we will try again as I know Jared would think it was fun (and because I have alot to brag about with that husband of mine).  We will do a quick run through of our summer.  We started out in Boise for a little over a week with some doctor stuff.  It turned out to be a bummer of a trip but we learned a lot and can now move on with life grateful for some new perspective and the knowledge of the gospel.  We then spent a fun weekend in St. George with Jareds best bud Ben and his wife Carmen.  It gave us a good taste of what the weather would be like for us this summer.  It was plenty warm.  About a week after that we went to Oregon for a good three weeks.  It was great to be back there.  We had a lot going on to keep us busy and lots of family to love.  Jared went swimming, got a new van, visited the beach twice, and got lots of attention from our family and friends there. One of the highlights being the forth of July (a Nelson production every year).
